new airport taxes

can anyone in the know advise me about the above? have been told by someone that as from 1st feb the extra taxes will have to be paid even if the flights have already been paid for? am travelling 3rd feb.

Oh yes Gordon Brown wil have his pound of flesh you will probably have to pay at Airport. not heard from balkan yey regards this.

I'm flying with Bulgaria Air from London to Sofia on 27th Feb. Does anyone have any thoguhts on how to pay the extra tax?!?! Tickets booked 6 months ago

Some airlines are taking payment off the credit cards given at booking!

Thanks for your e-mail. If the tickets are issued before the new tax has been introduced then you don't have to pay anything.

Bugger, i fly on 3rd march, so not sure if my tickets have been issued or not!?

If I remember rightly, the notice has been removed alreayd so can't check for sure, that First Choice have said that anyone that has booked through them will be contacted about the increase if it applies to them. I think it was anyone booked before 7th December and flying out before 2nd Feb won't be affected.
Anything booked there after I think it applies!

Either way customers that are affected will be contacted.
