It's keeps predicting snow and then it disappears! I am really hoping we get enough some over Christmas. I'm heading out on the 20th so fingers crossed there's enough snow to board on!
This sort of discussion happens about every 3 weeks in the winter about snow forcasts.
Virtually all of the web sites that are bounding about, are using technology called.....
"this is what is supposed to happen because, as an average, this is what has happened over the last few years".
That is what they put on their web sites..so when you say Peny.."I dont know what to believe anymore"..you are correct..believe none !
Look out for Hornster or Benson's forcasts as ...

Look out for Hornster or Benson's forcasts as they are accurate using real time technical data and not lovely bar graphs and guess work !
What I can tell you is, the next few weeks (at the moment, it does change quickly) is looking unsettled. The temperature (which obvioulsy is needed to be low for snow) is not that cold for the next 5 days or so. Things will start to cool off from the middle of next week but air pressure is going to remain fairly high which is not the best conditions. Wind will be from a southerly area for quite a while too :-(
