re: no snow

you must have been unlucky meeting only ignorant bulgarians, as for the weather that cant be blamed on the locals can it. sometimes you got to make the most of it

Bulgarians can be very ignorant. I have been going to Bulgaria for a number of years now. You need to expect this some of the time. Bulgarians can be very ignorant. I have been going to Bulgaria for a number of years now. You need to expect this some of the time. However you will find with a bit of effort on all parts and an effort to interact will generally find that the people that you need to interact with be very helpfull. Get used to people barging past you get over it dont be uptight get into the spirit of things and you will generaly find that behind much of the percieved indifference or ignorance that they are a great bunch of people. Go and expect to meet people with a slightly different attitude to you and give it time. You will soon warm to them. Dont expect fuzzy bunnies and you shouldnt be dissapointed. At the same time I think it is much better for people not to come on the board and realy ham it up by stating the Bulgarians are the most welcome, most hospitable people ever to set foot on the face of the planet and have peopole going out there expecting that everybody will be jolly and friendly and lovely as soon as they get off the plane. You need to put in a bit of effort with people out there and you will have a great time. Whew- thats one bee out of my bonnet

re: no snow

They are great but you have to put in the effort. Just dont expect people to make an effort to be nice to you if you dont make an effort with them. At the same time they could go through you for a shortcut quick enough.

re: no snow

Well bless my soul.

How lucky am I?
Been skiing there 14 times - Sunny Beach 8 times and always found them to be 99% brilliant to me.

There is no such thing as the perfect race, but to even consider knocking Bulgarian hospitality is scraping the barrow big time.

Been to London lately Confused

Having travelled widely, I have come to realise that the joy of travelling is to experience different cultures.
