My son would nneds 2 old snowboards (payment upto £10 for each) to recycle to make a seat for his GCSE tech project. They don't need to be in good condition as obviously not going to use them for boarding.
I know of two old snowboarders ??, house trained (honest ) and will only bite if you mention hair cuts, or attempt to move them when they are comfy (normally the nearest girlie bar )
They definately would not want to be `watered' and as for being uncomfortable ??? they are used to it, they snowboard
More seriously, i have a friend who works for the ski hire here in Bansko, but won't know till season starts Dec 1st.
Other options could be e-bay or local ski slopes but snowboards are durable things and short of edges being ripped out or delaminating and breaking are normally repairable. Good luck in your search
