re: old snowboards wanted

Have you asked Snowdome etc if they have any damaged ones, to save them on their disposal costs? Or maybe any distributers/ shop damaged ones?

Well with the waste recycling targets, WEEE directive and land fill taxes on industries I have no idea... but they must have to be disposed off somehow and that will be in accordance with local directives. Depends on what they are made of; but if they contain PE at all then it would be plastic, or specialised due to coatings.... Ask me one on REACH

re: old snowboards wanted

Apparently the snowboards are made of fibreglass, so they are counted as special waste, and therefore have a high disposal cost. Definately worth seeing if there is a business that is dispossing of them. x

Excuse the spelling/typing have a serious hangover. Booze Not clever on a Monday. Very Happy

Thanks for that Tufty-Duck! We've been away for the weekend to Center Parcs. Good idea re contacting makers. I went in a shop in york & he said exactly the same thing so Chris (son) is going to get onto it this week to see what they say.

Thanks
Very Happy
