I LEAVE ALL THE ANSWERS TO POMPOROVO PET OR HELEN BUT if you look at the web cams you will see what appears to be plenty of snow at long last. I may be wrong but I think the beginners school is at the bottom of "The Wall" on the left near the base and main area. There is a fenced off area visible on the pictures Incidentally I am travelling on the same date but I am next door in the Morgavets Hotel. Have a look at this address there is a great piste map of the area. Can be enlarged and moved around the screenhttp://winter.pamporovoresort.com/en/our-services/ski-slopes/
Yes we too are looking forward to it and were a little concerned with the reviews but decided to go with a open mind and see what we really think ourselves.
We are not 1st timers but still beginers but some of the group are 1st timers looks like the snow is set to continue so we are going skiing not to sit in the hotel
Ski School can take place at many different locations. It usually start on day 1 just outside the Malina centre at the bottom and by day 3 you will move up the mountain. Much will depend on the progress of the group but most make it to the top by day 3.
Hello - Will keep an eye out for you all, I personally will be wearing a Red Musto Jacket, Black trousers and Big Air Helmet/Goggles in Black. I am at ski school as I said but will probably potter around the base until I can get my ski legs. I cannot muster 6 foot 2" just about 5ft 7" Brian
husky rides are at the mid station normally although I did hear a rumour that they weren't going to be there this year - perhaps Helen knows? We just negotiated there and then. Its a short ride - kids enjoyed it but some feel its not worth the money as too short.
Sorry - I dont know if the husky rides are there this winter. I havent made it to the mid station yet - been a bit busy !!! If / when I get there I will let you know.
As for the snow - it snowed yesterday (early evening) on top of the previous snow. Today has been blues skies all day, but the clouds have rolled in so hoping for the forecasted snow tonight.
