HI Pat
Myself and my wife are going to Pamporovo on the 18th of feb 2010 and staying in the Monastry 3 apartments.
Flying from Manchester to Sofia. Any ideas on the best way to get from Sofia to Pamporovo? Ive been told that a taxi would cost £100 each way (which is abit much) and a bus is around £12 each way and around 3 hours to get there.
Also its our first time skiing and was wondering if you had any tips or recomendations ie bars, restaurants, ski packages or anything in general.
Just trying to get some info on our trip

hello to david and stu, i contacted a number of tour operators inlcluding crystal ski. The highest quote for that deal from any of the tour operators was £640 and the intial quote that i recieved from Balkan was £575 which at the time was the best quote but i didnt let them know that....i done the usual waffling telling them iv got a better deal for the same time but they didnt bite. It was only that i knew a party of people that are going out a week earlier told me that they were able to get there holiday for that price so i rang up balkan asking them how this was possiable eventually i got it for that price bearing in mind i booked this in april prices may have inflated slightly but too £700..well i think they are definately having a laugh there dont settle for any less than £580 bearing in mind its later in the year. Only speak to people in person or on the phone that way you can work a deal rather than book over the internet.
