Well like i said you didnt 'bite' on that one, but what i did find out that was quite dissapointing was that you were able to offer other people a much more competive price for the same time than what you could offer my party originally whilst telling me it was the best you could do? i believe that is a little 'porkie' too but the difference is im a customer looking for the best deal where as your the company lookin for the greatest profit. : Wink naughty naughty !! carry on...

re: pamps feburary 2010

obviously it depends on accommodation, dates of departure, size of booking party (for group discounts), ski packs required, under 16 year olds, student groups, online discount .... the list goes on .... not everyone will have the same criteria ....

re: pamps feburary 2010

i think you have excellent value!!
Dont know if it is balkan in belfast but if it is they will look after you very well (tony and stella are exccellent reps)
only negative is -that week -that hotel-there will be 44 of us from a school in lisburn.
so if you see someone greying rapidly with 40 children repeating constantly "its just like narnia!" then say hello

ps this week is traditionally great snow and the pupils will be perfect!!! If not let me know!!!!!!!

re: pamps feburary 2010

I agree philipf....the difference for myself in terms of skiing means that if i were to fly to plovdiv with the current flight times rather than sofia i would get a good half a day of skiin in xtra where as now with the transfer from sofia it would work out at about 2hours...hardly worth goin up the slopes for that. i hope in the future if not this season but next they do revert back to plovdiv because as far as i am aware the work on th airport is now complete.

re: pamps feburary 2010

The only reason Balkan Tours changed their flights to Sofia is due to the high amount of delays at Plovdiv due to the fog and also the lack of airport facilities. The transfer may take a little longer but overall there have been fewer delays and everyone still has a ball in Bulgaria Smile

re: pamps feburary 2010

Booked Bansko for the 27th Feb, staying in the Lion hotel half board.

For me taking my own board and boots its cost £468

For a mate hiring board and boots out there, and to have a 3 hour private lesson in a group of 4 (him with 3 others from our group) its cost him £502.

Went with Crystalski who I’ve used before a few times, they were doing buy one get one free list passes and a couple of other little discounts.

Didn’t book the lessons or board and boot hire through Crystal
