Hi Kas are you all meeting up next week I fly out Saturday on my own, booked ski school ( though I dont need it) so will hopefully meet some people, but getting more and more nervous about being on my own.

hi thereIm fling out on th 20th Feb and cant wait . Im bringing my parents and friend who have never skied before we are staying at the rila and was wondering is it due to be snowing at all for this week.. where we live we hardly ever get to see snow and was hoping it would be snowing for the week we stay.

Hi Skimad - ye[, we're up for meeting up, but it will either need to be Saturday night (not sure if people arrive too late for this) or Tuesday as i fly to London on Sunday night for a 24hour trip - back Tuesday morning. Let us know if anyone is up for that - we've met some great people through this site and long may it continue, although staying at home for a couple of nights now to drink tea and relax the liver!

Hannah - last year there was loads of snow at that time. It's my birthday on the 19th (and we officially got engaged on the same day!) it snowed all day and was brilliant!! Let's hope for the same this year!

Hi KasJust wanted to say thanx for all the updates. We arrive on the 13th Feb so we are hoping for the snow to come !!

not sure if im in the right thread for this but am looking at skiing packages an have been offered by my tour operator ski equip,ski school and lift passes for 149 adult and 125 for children is this good? is it cheaper to get this when out there or should i just go with this price..also my parents only want to try skiing for a couple of days with private lessons and will only want the equipment and pass for maybe 2 days is this available ??any ideas on price?thankyou

Just found internet in Hotel.
Hope you did not have too much of a headache on Monday morning Hope we all catch up by the end of the week as it's my round next. To the rest of you Kas gives excellent reports on the conditions out in Borovets, they are spot on. P.P.
did well to spot here as a potential Moderator (she must be a Cardiff City supporter)Again having a wonderful time skied all day every day.
