Just when i thot there was a mutually optomistic thread on here posted by Emilly and Pete. Up pops Gud olde Mat n Daniel full of pessimism. Maybe they cud start up a show or sumat .""I'm a Skier in Pamps ,GET ME OUTTA HERE "" They cud have skiers skiing on grass, skiers eating cold food ,or maybe skiers trying to dodge the bell sellers and get to the restaurant and not get ripped off .tee tee hee hee.

Some friends of mine have just returned from Pamps. They had pretty poor snow as they went on boxing day so I was a bit worried about them having had a bad time. I was so wrong - they had a blast. They were a family with 4 kids and were all beginner skiers. They got some skiing in - admittendly not alot but they had some - but they loved the resort, the atmosphere, the scenery and the people. You might say that is not what they went for, but if you are a dedicated serious skier then you don't go to Pamps. For beginners, families and people who want a reasonably priced fun ski holiday it is still a great place.

I could sit and pick holes in the place too but what's the point? I could do the same with WIndermere, Val D'Isere, in fact anywhere - everywhere has its pros and cons and faults that can be picked through. Pete doesn't have an vested interest in Pamporovo other than he likes the place - so why do you always knock him everytime he finds a counter argument to a negative post? As far as I can see he is the first to admit its failings in places but you two constantly going on about 'oh yes, of course, we're not allowed to say anything negative about Pamps' is crazy. People who are going on holiday come on here and ask questions and people answer them as best they can - with factual and helpful info to assist them in getting the best out of their holiday.

The first time I came to Pamporovo I was nearly put off by your negative comments and fortunately listened to Pete and some of the others who had just been on holiday and posted some helpful advise on places to go and things to do. My family and I had a great time and have been back a few times since.

There seem to be more political problems with this forum than with Pamporovo these days.
