its in lapland. the real santa village. went there couple of years ago. its amazing.http://www.levi.fi/pages/index.php?id=101&language=eng_win#
here are some webcams at levi. they have quite a bit of snow. they were struggling last year too!!! but looks like its good in most places this year. lets hope it continues!!!!

we went for week stayed in yllas, santa park was an excursion. was ok for a day trip. skiing was good and snow was plentiful. borovets nightlife too good not to go there this year!!! going twice jan and march. bring it on WooHoo!!!re: santa claus village live

it was quite a warm winter for lapland. most days was between -10 and -15. 2days it got to -30 and boy you knew it!!!!!
the santa excursion was to santa park first and then to santa village. santa's village was great!! its obviously small but you have the post office, meet santa and have chat and photo's and there are a couple of shops in a small shopping centre type place.
we went with inghams and i believe they do the same excursion. i have looked at their brochures this year ...

Is the santa village the one near Yllas where you just go and queue to see the big man ?I have heard that Santa Park is a bit tacky ? Is that true?
Also how did you find the skiing
