If you are looking for ski wear, winter wear, then yes you will. Lots of shops, but it will be cheaper to buy your ski clothes before you come to Borovets
You will find a few places selling 'branded' sweatshirts and hooded tops and I think there may be one shoe shop and a couple of jewelery shops, some food shops, plenty of shops for ski wear and equipment, maybe still a place selling antiques (sort of), a few places selling Kung Fu stars/nightsticks/BBguns/stun guns, some tourist type shops selling souvenir items and the odd estate agent.

Borovets is a small village half way up a mountain in Bulgaria. It does not really cater for the high end shopper. I suggest that you may want to go on the day trip to Sofia where you will find some shopping Malls selling the type of item that you want. I do not however know how prices compare. One things is for sure, you probably do not want to spend too much time walking about Borovets in normal shoes
A few shops selling touristy tat but no real clothes shops. Although if you get the chance to do the day trip to Sofia there are some great shops there.
No - they mean Samokov town - just less than 10mins away. But...have to agree with most of the posters that if you really want shopping you really need to go to Sofia - Samokov has next to nothing in terms of quality / range etc
