re: ski helmets

Got a helmet last year but at the time wasn't sure if I'd wear it much. Turns out to be one of the best snowsport purchases I've made and is worn pretty much all the time.

You should send your mates Aldi for £20, far better than renting.

re: ski helmets

Started wearing a helmet 2 seasons ago, as well as protecting the grey matter its also more comfortable than a hat and does not slip off, I also find that my ears stay much warmer. Try to take your goggles with you if you are buying, most goggles will fit but not all!!.

re: ski helmets

I love my ski helmet, it keeps my head and ears warm, my goggles don't steam up if i take them off and prop them on my helmet oh and it also saves me a headache if i take a tumble, for the sake of £20+ it is well worth having your own - got mine last season from go outdoors £27 (Sinner) daughter has just bought herself a nice silver helmet from Aldi £20. Would advise buying one from a shop rather than online - my first one was bought online and wasn't as good a fit as the one i bought last ...
