We did the same as pamps pete, 20 lev each. However some friends of ours had a rubbish instructor who totally knocked any confidence the group had developed. He would have rather shown them round churches and museums than take them on the slopes when conditions got a little difficult, needless to say they just got him a couple of drinks at the presentation evening.

Our group (8 of us) gave our instructor £10 each, he was absolutely brilliant. The Thomson/Crystal reps tried to tell everyone that 5 Lev was good enough, but after a week of tuition plus all the info on local haunts, the laughter, the video he took and the nights he joined us in the restuarants it would have been mean. If your kids are using the kindergartens, especially the Inghams one, then don't forget their ski instructor(s) also. It wasn't until we got home and watched the video of them that we realised just how much time was spent making our kids holiday so much fun. We felt gutted as we had left them out.
