re: ski instructor tipping

I mentioned this before we went, and some smart alec decided to suggest its better using trips organised by the reps ( doh wonder why) than those organised by instructors, ie local evenings. The instructors actually earn most of their income in the winter season and as they earn about £100 per month, (yes i know their eqpt and food is free big deal) they need to maximise all tips and any other earners, such as providing eqpt at good prices or organising trips etc. If you think the reps are ...

I have been disgusted by the treatment i got this year and lo and behold a few other people travelling with the same tour company in finding that your 'booked' passes and lessons had some how been omited and it was to late to do anything about it now, oh but we can sell them to you at £185 on the bus. I dont appreciate being told its raining as someone p****s on my head!!!!!

Maybe we should set up our own co-operative from this site and provide our own 'tour company' cant do much worse can we

re: ski instructor tipping

ally yeah right!!!!!!!!!!!! you spend too much time on the computer.
The instructors at the samakov get skiis boots jackets and salopettes with the job,i should know , they tried to get me a set for a charity ski in march and the tight git in charge wouldnt even let me buy a set, still his loss could have been some good publicity for the hotel and ski school especially as the ski club gb (who are organising it) see bulgaria as third rate for skiing. Yes you you know who you are lol
