Very hit or miss, but I did read that a couple of the runs were open at the Cairngorns at the weekend, Glenshee has the most runs.
Normally very cold and windy.
We used to ski in Feb half term and never had a problem. Very expensive so we now ski in Pamps the week before for the same price as 3 days in Cairngorms!!!
Skiied both the Cairngorm and the Lecht.....both very windy and snow depth variable. Went end of Jan and we had a fantatsic dump which provided the base conditions - unfortunately the wind caused the funicular to close at Cairngorm.
Drove to the Lecht (what a scary drive that was!!) and it was blowing an absolute gale but due to the layout you could use most of the runs - limited but fun.
Pricey though for a few hours
Drove from ireland to ski in Scotland ,because the wife won't fly.I leave here at home now and i can afford to go on two trips a year now one to Bulgaria and usually the other to Austria .Enjoyed Scotland by the way but a crazy drive in a blizzard, sking was ok (Ben Nevis).Sorry but won't be back.
