They do a thing called snowboard taster. You get an hour or so with an instructor. I don't know if you would be able to arrange that on your first day.

Me and a pal have booked the 6 day boarding package.

If we are both useless at snowboarding within the first 2 days do you think we could change to a ski package for free?

we booked the packages with balkan

re: snow boarding

boarding seems to be bit harder to learn than skiing from what ive seen so if you dont get the hang of it in the first 2 days dont give up to easily but once you get the hang of it you are suppose to progress more quickly the skiing so ive been told

re: snow boarding

I was thinking of a switch as I can ski but I fancied a go at boarding. Im a pretty quick learner so i feel i will be able to take to boarding im just worried my mate may find it a tad difficult so was wondering if he could try something else.

i want to enjoy the holiday, ski the pistes and see the scenery not be falling on my arse on nursery slopes.

but im not sure any of that will happen now with gas/ electricity shortages, lack of snow etc

re: snow boarding

the snow is ok the majority of places run on electricity wood burning and i think the gondola is run by diesel generator well i hope so if you have never boarded before i think you will be sat on your ass for the majority of the time so choose the smart move and ski
