snowbaord size - help

HI all

My son is 8 but very light I am trying to find out what would be the best size snowboard for him to use and keep being told different things so any help will be much appreciated. He is approximately 110-115cm tall and had a few 2hr lessons last year. Thanks in advance

Dona

TK can advise you on this . . for the little fearless whirlwind, I'll see if his email is in a link, otherwise i'll put up in touch.

Are you free in Feb / April?

re: snowbaord size - help

Hi Dona

If you look at most of the snowboard calculators they will say 142cm but I would say that will be too big. Have a look at the enclosed link as it shows a Nitro board at 115cm. Even that may be too big. Up to his chin would be about right.

Hope this helps.

re: snowbaord size - help

Last year we wet out with a board just past his chin which I was told by the guys at snowshack would be too big as he is so dinky which would mean a 110 or 115 in their eyes would be too big. God this is so confusing why can't he just ski then they give me whatever is right Very Happy
Will have a look on the link though thanks.
