club hotel yanakiev looks good, thats coming in around 300. Am i right in thinking its the rila at the bottom of the ski run in one of the pictures on here? If so, then that doesnt seem all that far out. None of my friends will ski, so no option but to go alone. As to my ski ability... No, i cant ski very well, only done a week in austria, so will be the green and blues for me ;-p
As most will know, we live out here (I am english, Bobby is Bulgarian). I have just produced a Borovets Guide for the season, which gives you information about everything from cashpoints, to best bars, hotels to ski runs etc. It's just a word document and totally free - it also doesn't have any advertising on it / recomendations for companies and is just my opinion!! If you click on my name, so that I get your email address, i can forward it to you.

In terms of transfers, loads of people do shared transfers, ski hire / equipment can be 'hit and miss' depending on who you book with - again, i will give you info on this if you send me an email - there are normally 3 ski schools I recommend.
Borovets is a friendly place and last year we started meeting up with people through this forum in one of the bars - it is a great place to meet people as is your ski group - either us or one of the posters try to organise a meet once a week. We have friends coming out the same week as your 'anticiapted dates' so if you do stick to them / have the same flight times, you will easily be able to share a transfer with them.
Forgot to say - in terms of hotels, Yanakiev is a great hotel, only 3 years old and is actually where we got married last year - it is right on the nursery slope and if you can get that for the same price as the Rila etc then I would defintiely take it as it's far better.
Hi Laura,as Kas said the Yanakie is probably the best central hotel, and kas and bobbys meets are great, bobby is also a great instructor, but beware the meets, the

Will get Bobby to text Sharif and try and persuade him, Deano & Caz to come out at the same time as you - do you know when you're coming out yet?? Let us know once you know!
In terms of the White House, yes we do plan on running it next season and will also be running a restaurant at the bottom as well - I know, we are totally totally mad - it must be all the Rakia!! We will keep you posted as things progress!
Bobby says hi and says to keep drinking the rakia!
