The insole trick seems to be good advice Fraser. One of the brochures I have saysn just what you did. Helps improve your balance, comfort and eliminate aches.

why not buy your kit whilst in Bulgaria. My instructor came up with some great deals last year for all kit. Of course they were his 'freinds' but you would save on carriage if its ski's and boots............re: the daily mail ski snowboard show
Did get a good deal about 4 years years ago on a full snowboard package. Board boots and bindings for £350 all really good stuff as well/ Nitro board and boots. the bindings were low quality stuff but have since replaced them cheap. It is a good chance to get you in the mood for the winter though. Gets you all excited like a little kid. Although the bar and a new snoeboard probably helped that as well.
