I would recommend Kokoshkova Kushta a thousand times over. Went there a few times at Christmas and can't wait to return to Bulgaria in April and go there again. I am planning on going there on our first night there. The food is 1st class, in my opinion the equivalent of a 5* restaurant in Ireland. The Old House is also lovely and Sonata. I thought Bonitas was too smokey for children and prices seem to have gone up from last year. Cinema in Samokov, near the ice skating, is a nice ...

The Castle is i think at the end of what i would call a small dual carriageway with houses either side and sort of raised grass area down the middle. It is near the centre of Samokov but towards the west side. It has a large brand new wooden door entrance and is painted bright white. Looks like a tiny castle with turrets on the end of terrace of houses, the guy that owns the Albena ski school at the flora is the owner, other than that i haven't got a clue!!!!!
