If it snows a lot, you could be walking in a few feet of fresh snow, but to be honest most of the time you will be on the shuttle coach and just walking into the ski depot - Decathlon do really cheap snow boots if you have one near you, but I know many people who just wear trainers, I don't but I like my feet to be cosy
THANKS GIRLS FOR THE INFO, HAVE EITHER OF YOU HAD A TURKISH BATH AT THE PAMPS HOTEL? WAS IT GOOD? EXPENSIVE? OR CAN YOU RECOMMEND ANOTHER HOTEL WHERE MY WIFE CAN HAVE ONE, ON A RECENT VISIT TO TURKEY SHE TRIED ONE FOR THE FIRST TIME AND LOVED IT. DREW
drewbie............trainers are fine. its not as if your off on a trek at night time. Pamps is the size of a small village. The perilk and morgavs are joined together. White hart and the supermarket are across the road. The bus picks you up in the morning and drops you off in the evening.
Now i appreciate what people are saying but in reality its not a expedition to the polar caps
we had a body scrub in pamps hotel it was divine!!!! any beauty treatments you have in Bulgaria are wonderful and well worth the money - the Pamps hotel staff are well trained no need to go elsewhere
Drewbie,
Reading between the lines, it looks like you are staying in the Pamporovo Hotel, I would strongly suggest you wear boots, as it is a ten minute walk to the main shopping area, and bars that surround the Perelik and Moourgavets, and if it is icy, you won't have much grip in trainers.
