My sentiments entirely for goodness sake its ex communist and poverty in most places, I felt very humble and welcomed the extreme friendliness and like you say when In Austria at Ski school sometimes the bullying was awful and like yourself I flourished as we skiied on our own at my leisure enjoying the fantastic beauty of the wonderful friendly mountains. Yes the food could have been better but overall the week in Pamps was a wonderful experience. Can't we manage with okay food for 1 week ...

I couldn't agree more with your comments, you do get sick of hearing it doesn't compare to France, Italy etc!!!Perhaps people should think about the fact that a general manager of a hotel there earns in the region of £300 a month and then sit back in embarassment at their crass comments!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We've been to Arinsol, but for the past 5 years been to Bulgaria (3 x Pamps then 3 x Boro) so that speaks for itself?
We much prefer the forests rather than bland open mountaintops with little character. Although we enjoyed Andorra we found it rather 'just so' and fairly unwelcoming - and more expensive when you are there.
We did not find it particularly friendly when we went, certainly compared to Bulgaria. However I hope that BG does not get any more commercialised, but it seems ...
