warm weather borovets

just been checking the long range weahter not looking good 26th Feb onwards. Fly out on the 1st will it all be slush!!

I’ve skied in the first week in March in Borovets for the past four years.

Last year, the temperature went up to about 16 Degrees Celsius, but there was still plenty of snow on the top, none in the village, but plenty on the top.

I’ve posted pictures at http://www.closingtime.co.uk/ if you wish to take a look.

Be sure to take plenty of Sun Cream, as you will need it if it’s warm.

plenty all around still today (21st Feb) all runs open and we were able to ski all the way back into the village from the gondola slope

Havin said that I am njot too sure how many mo days the lower slopes and the ski rod will last in the current temps.Plenty of good suntans around though!

What is the actual real temps in the village?

Can't belive it's so warm for end of Feb at 1350 metres in the mountains!

according to the big sign on the Rila it has been around 10 or 11 degrees during the daylight hours, it feels much warmer in the sunshine...

Just reading the posts and looking at the forcast.

We are coming out there on the 1st and beginning to get worried.

Its our 1st ever skiing holiday and only beginners.

Do you experienced lot think it will still be ok for us??
