best lunch is a simple beer and burger but i did eat deer/stag dick last time i was thre....didnt find out til the bar man started laughing but not bad..

Always try to take a lunch break in a nice warm resteraunt with an open fire where possible, Blah Blah in bansko often, normally with ski school, often try same food as ski instructors as its normally authentic. If not usually soup and bread or an ommlette, its easy on the stomach when skiing. Hot chocolate with a brandy in to finish sets me up for the afternoon

4 lev for a Mars Bar at the top of the mountain is daylight robbery.....

The point I am making is you can save a fortune by packing a couple of multipacks in your case, not much weight or space.

For lunch we meet in the resort. We like soup and toast, tea and Pliska at Popangelovs restaurant - fast, cheap, good.
To be quit honest - we are to mean to have lunch on Markudjik. As said before - daylight robbery.

Yeah how much is a Mars bar in the UK, and how much is a Mars bar at a football match in London. I'm guessing you will pay at least £2 which is a lot more expensive than 4 Lev

My fave lunch in Bansko is sticky rice with a chicken leg dumped on top, then 2 glasses of hot wine, while my gloves are being warmed in front of an open log fire, wow.

i usually visit the Black Cat in Borovets, and have some spaghetti or pizza. Black cat is spot on!!!!

Oh and not to forget the hot chocolates!!! yumm!

Oh, and a pint!
