Thos dogs broke my heart (I have 2 rotties), some were so malnourished (even those with collars) that I spent a part of every day feeding them, and they were all very friendly............I wish I could have brought some home with me.
If anyone is interested there is a charity called the BSAPP that do a lot of work helping the dogs in Bulgaria, who would be gratefull for any help/donations.
ye it wasn't one o the one round the gondola... they were sweet... one even walked down the ski road wi us as we skiied. it was this huge st bernard type thing near our hotel up in the woods. obviously didn't like look o my friend. give me greek cats any day.
One night we were completely leathered and decided to walk back to our hotel (about 45 mins). A group of dogs (not sure how many - bit difficult to focus due to large quantity of alcohol consumption) showed great interest in my sheepskin boots and followed us for a time. Wouold have been scared if sober!
I really enjoyed to be accompagnied with a dog when I went all alone to the center in those dark 'short cut' streets..
There was even one who showed us (Daniel & me) the way home
what a cuttie..
(I never had a dog, only cats..)
