there seems to be a flu type bug spreading around bulgaria, i suggest to anyone going in the next few weeks to take some lemsips (max strength) and the usual pain killers, it really can knock you for six, as a number of us have found out, also some throat sweets wouldnt go a miss, just saves you the hassle of trying to buy them when your therere: word of warning...

I have not heard of such a flu, maybe everyone is not used to the cold temperatures????

i am not convinced its actually FLU... but i know my son was really ill, and a number of other people seem to have the same symptems.........and No it wasnt the food. i can only speak from experiance and the number of other people on this website that have complained of feeling ill whilst there or coming home feeling quite ill, really dont think it has enything to do with the cold, they were ill not hyperthermic.................re: word of warning...

I've been in Borovets since before the season started and have not been alerted to a serious out break of illness. Don't worry, this is just a typical case of a small number of tourists not adapting to weather changes and a different cuisine.

look under heading FLU OR ???????. there seems to be rather a lot of it about... this does not include the people that are not visiting this website. just thought it was best to give a bit of a warning. im not saying that there is a epademic, just a small number of cases, but its best to be warned, my son was acctually quite concerned, he is 24, not a young child, and he thought there was something quite serious wrong with him, he could not focus properly and felt very dissoriantated, it was ...
