hi mark,was it any good and how are the chalets, as i have always stayed at the rila, wanted to try something different, we are having the bed and breakfast option wot was that like, also have 2 boys with us 10, 12 will they like it, and how secure are they. cheers m8

Hiya,
We stayed self catering so dont know about the breakfasts but the one meal we had there was great.
The chalets themselves are basic, very warm but comfortable. We had our 2 kids with us and they had a bunk bed each. there is only a curtain on their room and not a door so worth remembering that lol
No problems with security at all, the doors to the chalet are controlled by swipe card. Silly I know, we left cash in our room and it wasnt touched by the cleaning staff.

clean towels most days and the shower was red hot..but after 3, it started to get a bit cooler.
The heating is electric and we found ourselves switching it off at night because it got too hot as the callets are well insulated.
The free shuttle bus operated for most of the day and night and this was just perfect for us.

thanks for getting back so quick, what time was the last shuttle bus at night, did you venture into samakov at night for meals.was it yr first time there, or have you been b4.re: yagodachalets boro
last bus is 11.10pm back to yagoda, but a taxi will cost 10 lev (£5 ish).Went into Samokov 3 times but we had private transport. Last year we ventured into Samokov but once again was with private transport.

I was looking at the Chalets on here. Looks like they may have had a re-vamp since we went.I'm sure you and your family will have a fab time.
