re: 1st time boarder Borovets 2013

Hi Smed,
Echoo all that John (AKA Rickers) and S.P. say except about me sitting down on the job.

Sure that you will have a great time and meet up with some like minded, deluded tea tray riders, you could always reject the dark side, rebook for the 26th Jan and join in on some gracefull carving, none of this Goofy or Frontside rubbish.

P.S. don't mind the slagging, it's only to get the 26th board crew wound up!!!

re: 1st time boarder Borovets 2013

thanks for all the info guys, really exited to get out there now & meet other boards!!
i booked it last week, got it for a little cheaper, £860 with everything so i am very pleased with that.
Just a quick question, i have my own boots & would like to take them, can you take them on the plane as hand luggage?
cheers

re: 1st time boarder Borovets 2013

Hi Smed,

Yes you can take them on the plane as hand luggage, just ware them on your hands and call them gloves!!!

Hi Francis,
Glad your keeping an eye on the board, boarders don't become skiers for one reason, it takes more than one brain cell to ski!! see you soon buddy!

£860 does sound like a good price. We went with Ski Trips in the end and paid just over £800 for everything - staying in the Flora. Have not been before so don't know whether that's a good place to stay or not, seems quite central though.

Hi

@James - Flora is a great position - good accommodation, quiet enough in the evening but close to the Rila slopes. You can also ski out of the back to the gondola rather than walk down the road.

@ Smed - hope you have a fab time and fire away with any more questions!
