Morning All...

Well good and bad news...! The good, it's snowing again...bad news, the top is still closed...today the Suhar is also closed (nursery at top of gondola) in addition to teh Markudjik slopes which have been closed for over a week now. It is very misty up there, but even so, people are getting frustrated as the wnow is amazing but no-one can use it!!!

Yastrebets slopes are in excellent condition, all been pisted but there is also some fresh powder...Bobby says they are skiing (well boarding today!) better than they have for years. It is very cold though - -15this morning...!!

On the Rila side, all Rila runs and Sitnyakovo runs are also in perfect condition, although apparently they are a bit icy this morning (due to such cold temps).

Will update later if it ever stops snowing!!

That's great news about the snow, maybe tell everyone in resort to switch on hairdryer for 3 seconds and point up the mountain might get rid of the mist, keep up the good work you two.

re: BORO UPDATE - 18TH JAN - SNOWING

What an earth is going on with this resort ? I have skied in several French resorts over the years in thick fog dozens of times, infact I have had several instances where you cant see further than 7-8 feet in front of you and have no idea where you are on the piste. This is a bit of a worry as i'm due out there next week but its going to be pointless if its staffed by idiots who are keeping the place shut down because they dont like the weather.

re: BORO UPDATE - 18TH JAN - SNOWING

Just stopped snowing at the bottom of the resort and the sun is trying to come out. Mist is lifting at the top...albeit slowly...!
