Hi,I was out there last week and I think the marduki runs were shut all the time due to fog/mist,but I still skies marduki 1 and the mussels pathway.Everything else in the resort was open and I was just grateful of the amazing snow everywhere,at least I didn't have anyone ski into me cause they couldn't see me,I just made the most of my hols and didn't worry about a couple of runs being shut,to be honest if you want miles and miles of runs you shouldn't be in Borovets anyway.
I for one would have been gutted as they look more than skiable to me but guess they have a reason for shutting those lifts. Put it this way Borosports own at least one restaurant up there, not only that, they charge everybody else who wants to run a business on top, money to get stuff up and down the mountain. The monopolies commision and office of fair trading would have a field day. So with that in mind they are either unbelievably stupid ar there must be a very good reason to keep them ...
