hi all

we have not even been offered an alternative may have considered east midlands airport.

we have been offered a weeks holiday and rufund of the rest of cost for the two weeks or full refund.

have started to look at doing the holiday indipendantly.

hope everyone gets sorted out.

Balken are the only holiday company doing packages after the 3rd of March. This has always been the case.

Always thought this was mad as over the last few years had some of the best skiing of the season in March. Every year I keep expecting them to add at least another week or two to the season but yet again they haven't!

We've always booked independently in the past, accomodation is usually cheaper.

Wondered why I couldn't book that week online ... even with Balkan. The same thing happened last year, only Balkan went mid-March, Thomsons, Crystal, Neilsons all stop after the first week in March.

Unfortunatley- Balkan are the only ones that fly to Bulgaria during the winter from Newcastle!

Same with Edinburgh ... same flight in fact, it stops over in Newcastle en route.

Balkan are the only company who travel from Scotland full stop.

you can get a flight from Newcastle via amsterdam but wait...............................nearly £700.00 for 2.

Balkan still offering packages but by the looks of things gotta go from East Midlands or Heathrow

I noticed that earlier if they had offerd us that option we would have to go on the Saturday not sunday but I may have been prepared to do that as it still fit in with our 2 week holiday off work.

the drive to East Midlands I am not bothered at we will know better on Friday .........just noticed it is Friday ohh well.

been looking at flights and acomodation all night my head hurts.
