yes last few days have been a nightmare but we are getting close to getting sorted.
Would I book with Balkan again!
answer yes due to Newcastle Airport being a handy distance from home.
Will I be making a complaint!
yes, but I am not expecting it to change anything.
I just hope tha all that have been effected have managed to get sorted out.

PP. Balkan are selling Holidays and flights only from Gatwick to Varna Summer 2012. but would you believe, Bulgaria Air have not got any flights scheduled at the moment. Balkan use the the above carrier on this route.re: Balkan Holidays Strike again!
Hilly will do looks though we may be able to get an extra day in as well so that will be good.Plan is depart either 02.03.12 or 03.03.12 until 17.03.12 will be our second visit.
trying to make it a special trip for my wife Tracy as we have not had a 2 week holliday for some time.
One way or another we will be there.

I know it's a bit of a trek for some but Wizz Air flies out of Luton to Sofia. May be an option rather than missing holidays.re: Balkan Holidays Strike again!
Hi Del Boythats what we are looking at it is a 4 hr drive but I am ok with that.

From whats been said here think it will be very quiet your 2nd week our week.
I've been 1st week March for the last 4 years and for the last couple, as we've left, the snow has fallen. So much so we've struggled to get to Sofia airport on the way home.
Hence us booking 2nd week this year and it means we will miss the Bulgarian holiday 1st week of March, which has ment queing on chairlift at Yastrebets.
So all I can say the more the merrier. You and your wife are so lucky ...

I think you are telling a fib! I called Balkan who have confirmed they have never put that on any letter. Any chance you can scan the letter and publish it, just to put my mind at rest!
