Bansko looks FANTASTIC

OMG it looks amazing... they've had the piste bashers out too by the look of it on the live cams (banskoski.com)

I just want to don my skis and be one of the first to have a run down... but alas i must wait until mid Jan... seems to be starting out far whiter than last season so hopefully it's gonna be a brilliant season all round for all resorts

I'm impressed. Its amazing what the people can do in two weeks. The temperatures on screen were nice and low from -4 to -7, meaning the snow cannons were workable.

Has anyone any idea on the dept of the covering?

there was 15cm on tuesday apparently (j2ski?)

and a nice covering fell since, so fingers crossed there could be a good few feet.

80 cm + has fallen on the top of the mountain since the snows began a few days ago. Snowing quite heavily in the town as i type this... Was heading up for opening ceremony (driving) but may nip up on gondola because of parking chaos on mountain...
Errrr, we're going skiing tomorrow, anyone else up for it ???
