Why aren't people staying at the Kimpinski Grand Arena, they would have far less to moan about, excellent hotel in every way, be evan better when they build the tunnel from the ski room to gondola, then apart from an apres drink in Happey End you would never have to be involved in the shoddy dump that is Bansko town, just enjoy the mountain all day and the hotel in the evenings, make sure you get a room at the back of the hotel with delightfull mountain views, keep your eyes closed on the ...

With all due respect i've been in Bansko the whole season, and the queues you experienced during your holiday were no so bad compared to the terrible gondola queues of last week. I ski nearly every day, almost nearly without queues.

Also, during your holiday, Bansko was hosting a competion, winds closed a number of the lifts and their was a bomb scare, all detracting enjoyment of your holiday. I'm sure if you came the following week your opinion would have been totally ...

re: Bansko why not to go

We were there same week as Pamp Pete, what queues? we got to gondola before 9am and up the hill, on the day when the gondola was free for the Slalom race we jumped in a taxi when we saw there was a bit of a queue olny 50 L between 5, a rather fun drive up the mountain, no problems to get straight to the top, if you haven't got a spare £3.50 then what was one day of a queue. If all the people who moan don't return next year it will be evan better,

Ahhh - must have been my imagination - and I'm making it all up - and I'm a liar - and it was the wind - and it was the bomb scare - and it was the European Ladies GS - and I got there at the wrong time of day -- whatever the reason I was only able to ski the whole mountain just 1 day the whole week when the snow was excellent - and I had to queue EVERY DAY to use the Gondala as did everyone else I was with. And after waitng a whole year to ski this wonder resort, I was disappointed and ...
And after waitng a whole year to ski this wonder resort, I was disappointed and annoyed. Use whatever excuse you want to, to justify it but that doesn't alter the facts, as many others who have returned will say the same thing - the queues for the Gondala are unacceptably long, and the mountain management is appauling.

Pam pete
some people really dont like when somebody places negative feedback doesnt matter real on fantasy.if you are in love with the place you will protect it in any way.
The botton line is that the Place is expensive as the Alpine resort, grim looking town, very long queues, mess with the litle buses from each hotel, ski road is a joke, only next year Bansko will have a HUGE problem with crowds.
