Hi Gerry,

Nice to hear that Paul is back out to Borovets the same time we are there. I thought about him as soon as I heard about Michael Schumacher, just shows how lucky he was.

Id also like to point out buy brand new, never second hand, you dont know what its been put through.

My first few years boarding never wore one, I dont have a story of an incident or accident that made me want one, I just knew as I was progressing and going faster it was the wise thing to do.

hated it! First time wearing but as the weeks went on it became routine, now doesnt bother me, wouldnt go without one.

For me it was progression into freestyle, in the domes you have to wear one or you cant take part - have you ever tried a freshly swapped rental helmet Confused

re:Boring old Helmets

It is very uncool not to wear a helmet! Just consider the conversation when your loved ones are being advised you are no longer with us

"He/She would have probably survived if they had been wearing a helmet"

Also I find it gives more confidence as if you do have even minor crashes it's not so much of an issue if you knock your head.
