Good post dbut.
Does anyone know the approximate cost that Borosport have to pay to buy each snow cannon.
I think there were two types of snow cannon at Borovets, the more permanent type on the Yastrebets 2 and 3 slopes and the mobile, like what was on the track from Yastrebets chair lift to the gondola.
I am aware that they require water supply but an just curious as to the snow cannon cost price.

re:Borosport need to improve for 2015
Hi Rob,
Don,t think that the cost is as much an issue as the temperature ( needs to be at least -4c) and the water, they would probably need to build a new reservoir for more cannons.
They certainly need to up the game though if they want to keep the level of visitors up. I can see this season having a huge effect on next years bookings !!!
We normally have a group of 4+, next year our little club is gaining a few more. We havevbeen to Bulgaria 4 times in the last five years and 2 of those have been shockers. We've already decided against Bulgaria for the fifth time, partly because of the increasing seedyness and partly due to the organisation. Im sure many more will follow suit unfortunately!
Hi Rob,
I just had a search round and all I found was the approximate price in 2004...the portable, fan type snow makers, the ones that look like jet engines, were £15,000 to £20,000 each! Then you've got the electricity bill for running them and pumping the water.
We were in Boro at the end of Jan...we had a good time but did find things limited.
