re: Borovets

Sorry, tommygun? "the place is for young chavs and people who have not travelled passed ( sic) benidorm"??

I am 56 ....so not young........I have never been thought of as a chav..........and I own a house in Las Vegas so certainly have been 'passed' Benidorm.....

I go to Boro cos its fun, the ski-ing is good enough for my abilities, there's lots to do apres ski and it doesn't break the bank.

Really tried hard not to comment on this post. For some reason the majority of sensible comments come from BG Bunny Boilers (appparently !) who have a balanced view of a reasonably priced resort in a former Easter Bloc country with it's accompanying glitches. Seems to me we are realists in what we pay for and what we expect to get. It's not a problem if you don't like it, or if you want to post a sensible comment about it, just move on and go else where for goodness sake. This last comment ...

What an idiotic thing to say. I am not a young chav, I don't drink myself stupid every night, I have traveled extensively, and I enjoy my time in Borovets. Get a life.

re: Borovets

I dout n't understand all the anti Bulgaria posts,i usually go to Boro in Jan and Feb,i'm not at all rich but i can afford a skiing holiday anywhere, skied France and Italy for about 15 years then went to Boro and keep going back,I agree the skiing doesn't compare to the Alps, but as a HOLIDAY I think its great and really relaxed. After all that if you don't like it just go somewhere else, pretty simple I think, also don't understand why people who don't like the place, waste their time on this ...
