When we were in BG at xmas & New year in Sofia at the united bulgarian bank we got 2.825 and if you are changing the 1500 you might get 2.84. we were staying in our apartment in bansko. my advice if you can get to sofia to the big banks, also take crisp, newish, untorn notes. Skidude Very Happy

We are going to Borovets on the 18th Feb and our Travel Agent told us to take US $. From everyones comments it looks like sterling or euros is just as good. Any thoughts !!!!

LIES I TELL YOU, don't bother taking dollers, just take stirling and lev, if you can get a good rate and you should be fine. skidude

Go back and tell your travel agent to do their homework. They don't know what they are talking about and should not be dishing out such rubbish to people who have just paid alot of money for their holidays. Confused
