Steve - snow cannons are there BUT they cannot work if the temps are not right - so it is a WEATHER issue not Boro!Agree though - it is a total b*mmer and possibly other higher resorts would give better conditions BUT - it is never guaranteed wherever you go - that is the unortunate gamble of booking a ski hol - it can also change overnight - one BIG dump and all will be OK - I DO hope it comes SOON!!!

Hi m,
Am currently at Bansko (slightly higher elevation than Borovets, similar aspect, and not far away, so similar weather) and have given up even going out on the slopes. Everything except the very top of the mountain is slush (would be easier with water skis!), and the top is so busy that it gets completely cut up by about 10am. No runs have been closed yet, but I would expect virtually all the lower runs to be closed within the next week or so. This isn't really an issue with ...
