What a load of rubbish. Neilson won' t move you to borovets simply because their allocation of rooms are full. The perun has ample room and neilson can easily get more rooms. I can advise that neilson have a commitment in the rila that they need to fill hence shifting the sheeps to borovets. My advice, is stated above!

re: Cancelled holiday to Bansko

nick,
I don't believe the problem is that the hotel is overbooked, though that could happen in Bulgaria due to bad management. It's more likely that there is a change in the current price and the tour operator can not execute a deal at the old price negotiated 12 months ago, it's a long time and probably the price is up now.
Why don't you ask your tour operator for his current price and pay some more money to keep your holiday on?

Nielson have apparently curtailed part of their Italian programme and customers were giving them what for on the Nielson web site.Eventually the M.D came on the site with their reasons.Suggest you try this nick if you cant get any joy.

Phew - pleased to hear that Nick. Mmmm - very odd, Neilsons were obviously trying it on for whatever reason.

Anyway let's hope that's the end of any holiday woes and you relax and enjoy now. I am out there that week. Have stayed in the Perun before - lovely hotel - though I am staying in an apartment this time.

Hope you have a great time.

The bar prices are quite expensive but probably no more tant the other hotels you have stayed in, the bar has a good atmosphere and a lovely fire. We found the food quite good for hotel food and the breakfast were nice fresh pancakes or omlettes made to order yummy
