We stayed at the Lion hotel last year which is directly opposite but we kept going to the Perun for drinks and coffee in the afternoon. The prices are OK for a hotel, the mehanas are cheaper though.
Lion hotel is very nice but the Perun has a better atmosphere (and they actually had the fire on in the sitting area which is more than the Lion did, suppose it was the end of the season). If you fancy a wander go and have a look at the Guiness Hotel (across the river) it has a fabulous ...

If you fancy a wander go and have a look at the Guiness Hotel (across the river) it has a fabulous sitting area and a brilliant central chimney, if you are going with kids they will love it.
Pleased you got everything sorted, we won't be going back for a little while so are very jealous.
