A quick joke to start off the day,
A MAN is at work one day when he notices that his co-worker is wearing an earring.
This man knows his co-worker to be a normally conservative fellow and is curious about his sudden change in fashion sense.
The man walks up to him and says: "I didn't know you were into earrings."
"Don't make such a big deal, it's only an earring," he replies sheepishly.
His friend falls silent for a few minutes, but then his curiosity prods him to say: "So, how long ...

Oh and by the way, I got my booking conformation for xmas this morning!!

No nothing for the summer yet but we are planning a return to Bansko next Feb and hopefully persuading 4 friends to join us.Well done on getting your confirmation through for Xmas. Busy time at work for me then so can't go that early.

If I can find some dosh, I might go to les deux alpes this summer to try out the glacier skiing!Ever been?

No. Refuse to go to France as strongly object to being ripped off on the slopes for food/drink prices.

Yeh, that is a good point, but you can fly to grenoble with easyjet. Get a bus to les deux alpes all for £80. For summer skiing its cheaper than others.And also they have the biggest terrain park in Europe on the glacier there

I must say I cant get my head round a skiing holiday in the Summer. There are so many hot places to go, I think we will save the cold places for winter.re: Come on, lets be havin you!
Cathy, on the glacier, when the sun comes out it is not cold. It can get upto 25c. So T shirt and shorts skiing, lovely!!In the afternoon, you can walk, swim, climb, bike.......

Where are you going at Xmas?
Like Val - I will be heading back to Bansko but not until end Feb.
Glacier skiing - oooh. I worked for a season in Val Thoren some years ago and did some summer skiing in and around that area. These days I tend to go for a 'hot' summer holiday with friends - off to Greece for two weeks and from now on (as it was the first time with my young son this year) we will be doing a ski hol at beginning of year. I would of course like to do lots more ...
