Compliants(?)

I stayed in a privately run chalet when in Borovets recently and it was far from what, and still is, described on their website.

Where is the best place to let other people know so they dont make the same mistake?

When I brought it up with them they just ignored me.

It was called Iskar Hotel Chalet, only opened up this year.

Please note - that is a completely different chalet from Chalet Iskar which is also in Borovets - there's always been excellent reports from Chalet Iskar

Pure luxury I have heard from somebody else who stayed there, and they got the name correct which is more than you did. Are you sure you've got the right place ? Your comments sound iffy to me.

There are two separate places Dave - Chalet Iskar is actually in Borovets - the Hotel Iskar Chalet is in Iskar. Don't get them confused. Maybe if the Hotel Iskar Chalet is that bad, the owners of Chalet Iskar should think about changing the name because of this confusion

Apologies Dodgy Pete. I didn't know that there were 2 with similar names. I know that the Chalet Iskar is top notch and just assumed that somebody was having a poke at the owners.

Very Happy yeah, and Chalet Iskar doesnt have a web site, Cool Cool (the bank manager still has to work on it) ...Pete where were you staying??

Its in Govedartsi, about 30 mins out of Borovets. It tecnhically doesnt have a name but calls itself Iskar Hotel Chalet.
