Are you saying our opinions are dishonest? I was honest about Pass; it's a rock with little charm, lifts are good mind but not what I want from a ski hol. I like a beautiful mountain, not a White slab regardless how good the snow is

Nobody is right - nobody is wrong. It's all down to our personal experiences and our own preferences to what we enjoyed the most.

Nobody would ever pursuade me to go to Andora again, and I know many would think the same about Bulgaria. That does not make either better of worse than the other.

Cool

Hi, sorry, been back a couple of weeks now but not really had time to get on here!

We had a great 4 days skiing, we were staying just outside Canililo and drove up to the village of El Tarter each morning to get the gondola up the mountain. We started at 9am each day and never had to queue once to get up.

Hi, sorry, been back a couple of weeks now but not really had time to get on here!

We had a great 4 days skiing, we were staying just outside Canililo and drove up to the village of El Tarter each morning to get the gondola up the mountain. We started at 9am each day and never had to queue once to get up.

There are 3 resorts all linked by a chair lift service, with the lift pass covering all of these regions. We skiied across the whole resort and some of it was absolutely amazing, there were a good range of runs, plenty of great wide ones and a fair few narrower ones depending on how much you want to be challenged! You could ski from top to bottom from any number of runs, doing it very quickly by following a steep black or a nice gradual winding blue.

The scenery was much like Borovets, great views from the top of the mountain and as you make your way down you are skiing through the pine trees.

The pistes were really well looked after, they were perfect each morning, if a little crusty due to the cold night-time temperatures. It got quite warm during the day, up to about 16 degrees in the town at one point so some of the lower runs were a bit slushy by 2pm but you could easily go the other side of the mountain and get perfect snow. We didnt have any snow while we were there so the off piste was ok-ish, theres absolutely loads there and it would be amazing with a little fresh powder.

We never had to queue for more than a couple of minutes for a chair lift, there were english speaking workers on every chair lift who were happy to help with anything.

The food was maybe a little more expensive than Bulgaria but the quality was much better, never got ripped off with wrong change and the staff were all helpful.

Didnt sample the night life so cant compare with BG.

As for the towns, we skiied to Pas De La Cassa, it wasnt the most picturesque of towns, lots of large concrete buildings, nothing particularly nice to look at. Soldeu was completely different, rather than the standard concrete, all the hotels, houses etc had been stone faced (not sure how to explain it!) and it looked really nice, same as El Tarter.

In conclusion, Ill definetly be going back, amazing skiing, great food. Ill still be back to Boro at some point, but Andorra may take over as my new favourite!

(Sorry for the essay but wanted to give a decent review)
