Got my letter today from Crystal confirming the alcoholic drinks arrangements, which is the same as stated in the email you posted. As long as they honour the times and the drinks stated I've be happy with that. Like you I'll take my letter to show them if they try to change anything! If not then its happy days
@ ddt and gary franklin, did they give any reason f or the changes and did they give any alternative offers, some people who were with us were non skiers who booked AI for the mountain experience
"recently we have been advised that local beer and wine will be served with lunch between 12.00 & 14.00 and again in the evening 18.30 - 22.00, selected local spirits as advertised in the broachure are also served between 18.30-22.00"
@williamsfamiy my complaint went in yesterday(not quite 5 pages), i just hope enough people put complaints in to make them realise they can not just do as they please and expect everyone to live with it.
As has been said, had we known these times when booking perhaps some people would have chose alternative destinations and some not, but we would have known and not spent a good 4 days arguing with reps about the changes and actually been able to relax after skiing.
looking at the spec on the crystal website which has now been amended

it is totally different to the list that that gary franklin posted above
This really is an absurd offer and full of if's and maybe's.
It appears that most of the offers are available when the majority of people will not require them.
'Some' hot drinks and soft drinks. (not very discriptive.)
Spirits only seem to be available during the time most people are getting ready to attend their evening meal.
And 'timetable subject to change' can only mean if too many people take up the option then they will withdraw the offer from the popular times. Why else would ...

it felt like that pete, we often joked on the shuttle bus back about AI being on or off, the lager was very nice quite different from the poor quality spanish stuff, so maybe they realised they would lose money with big drinking brits
I will be taking the letter and the emails with me, I will also have my laptop, so will keep you all informed of the farce that will no doubt take place next week, it is obvious that the hotel forgot that some brits like a drink or more after a long day on the slopes, and they are now losing money.
Their updated website does make me laugh as the williamsfamily say its different from the info they have given.
