I am thinking of spending a bit of time boarding this holiday. I did get to the point of doing linked turns years ago when I did half and half but then we had kids, didn't go for 10 years and then I stuck to skiing when I restarted.
I am a competent skier, and comfortable on or off piste but loved the boarding and really want to try it again.
How long might it take to pick it up again? Should I spend hours of my precious 1 week of snow holiday sitting on my arse, risking my ...

I thought about it last year but bottled it. What would the best way of going about it if I did give it another chance?
Oh - and the worst thing - I NEVER NEVER NEVER got button lifts!

Not sure how long it will take but I have never got button lifts either. If you really have it in your head then just do it even if its to just get it out your system.
Don't be like that! ;-) We are all snow and mountain lovers. In my book it's not one plank v two plank. It's sensible, respectful people v selfish idiots. There are some of each in both groups.

I skied for 11 years then did a snowboard
taster and never looked back, within 2 years I was a better boarder than skier........ I still take both with me but im now a boarder
