How did you get your phone stolen? Was it from your safety deposit box? Or is it because you left it on a table for all to see?....just interested that people are saying things are getting stolen, but have not said the circumstances it happened in??
Checked my phone several times because I was waiting for a text from my son, left phone on table first few times. Bar then began to get more crowded so put it back in my pocket. Next time I checked it had gone. This was shortly after a local had sat next to us and bought us shots...ummm? Perhaps you shoul check out some of the other recent threads.

The first ski's my husband had, had huge scratches and gouges on the bottoms and sides and rust on the bindings! The first pair of boots he was given had lining that was as thin as paper with wear! The second pair were almost thrown at him because he dared to ask for another pair. I've been skiing since I was 10 and have been to many other ski resorts (including Bulgaria many years ago) and I am quite sure that the equipment (especially boots) were incredibly old. It is imperative that boots are fitted correctly according to foot and leg shape and level of ability, skis also should be selected according to height, weight, level of ability. When I bought my own boots at Christmas I was told which boots I could have according to the above not according to choice of style or colour. In the Samakov depot they had mostly one model of boot thus assuming that everyone is the same shape and level of abilty! The only question my husband was asked was 'What size is your Foot?' he tried to give more information but it fell upon deaf ears. Thus no care for tourists health and safety.
In other resorts a regular sight or sound very early in the morning is sound of vehicles clearing roads and pavements of ice. In Borovets I saw several people each day slip on ice. The only time I saw someone clearing ice from a pavement was a little lady using a stick to scrap ice from the doorway of her shop. Even the paths leading up to and around the medical center were treacherous! Pity the injured folk trying to access that.
Yes we do expect to queue but not for an hour and a half.
I paid for a taxi to take me to the chair lift did a couple of red runs and then went to mid station to pick up the gondala. I got in at 10.45. the people already in the gondala (from the bottom) had joined the queue at 9.10. There were only no queues on the first few days when top of Gondola was closed. The people in ski school however, were able to go to the front so maybe this is why the queues were not so bad for you.
Green runs cuting across the path of button lifts. poor signposting, beginners having to ski blue to get to green after two lessons, green runs cutting across black runs and mountain safety staff very few and far between. I could go on but this is already an essay.
Now Borovets has decided to charge as much as europe or even North America you might as well go somewhere else and see what you've been missing.
