Just got back from Italy - Go Compare!

Just got back from Italy - Go Compare!

After Pamps last year decided to give Bardonecchai (Italian Alps) a try......

Accom cost : £1200 - 2 people 7 days HB (in Lift passes)
Cheapest beer in town : £3 (peroni) pint
Beer On slope : £4 pint
Coffee on slope : £1.20
Big bowl chips! £3.50
Half pizza : £4
Snow : Superb - loads when we arrived and massive dump mid week.
Slope conditions : Very good - plenty of basher working through the night
Lift access : Ski in Ski out hotel - literally yards to high spees 4 man lift ...

Bloody hell that's expensive. But I can only compare between La Thuile and Borovets. Borovets again 7th March it is. Very Happy

i dont think thats expensive if it included lift passes

for two of us including lift passes on march 7 it cost £900 half board with lift passes to borovets, borovets for me when a pint is 3-4 levs do the maths it borovets every time.

yes but its boro nice in the town not to clever skiing do the maths

sounds good to me too! i go 27th to boro,lasts year i was there at the same time and only the top was skiable. ive never been Italy, whats the sort of chances in easter?

Yes, stand corrected if that includes lift passes and half board.

All of the Bulgarian resorts arnt for everyone , ppl come over thinking its normal europe , its not , and to be fair if it was i think alot wouldnt bother com ing , ppl come becos these resorts have so much more ..............we dont want it to turn into france , either in the way ppl see it or the prices either Wink

in 7 years ive only had one bad year but till skied every day, where else can you take a family ski eat and drink all week and not break the bank, the ski schools are excellent, childcare in the rila has looked after two of my girls well, i think the beauty of boro is that everything is close together from eating drinking to skiing.
