re: More Knee Help please

I had a knee op a few years ago the day before new years eve,(had to have some cartlidge removed) 7 weeks later I was on the slopes in Borovets without any problems.
I did and still do wear a knee brace with side supports (cost me about £120) I also have properly fitted boots with custom footbeds.
What I will say Ian is make sure you exercise both legs as instructed by your physiotherapist, i made a rapid recovery due to the exercise program i undertook..

4 more weeks..... Booze

re: More Knee Help please

If i make it on the slopes Simon on 23rd, it will be 34 days since the last operation (cartilage tear repair + other wear and tear repair).

It's nowhere near long enough to recover I accept, but, hoping trussed up with a brace, i can at least toddle about to some extent.

As for dancing in Daks - another matter!

re: More Knee Help please

Just back from 2 trips to Pamps and a big thanks to all those that advised on knee braces etc.

The investement with physioroom.com paid off a treat - so much so my first black was achieved! I couldnt have got down the front door step at Christmas!

I'll post separately about Pamps but thanks again.
